Soccer Recap: Pollok Central's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

Pollok Central pushed their score to zero the last time they played New Summerfield, but on Saturday they couldn't quite do it again. The Pollok Central Bulldogs never let the New Summerfield Hornets onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered an 8-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Rihemie Padron and Lilly Forman scored both of Pollok Central's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Pollok Central's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-12-1. As for New Summerfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Carlisle the next time they take the pitch. Pollok Central will head out to face Carlisle at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while New Summerfield will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
