Baseball Game Preview: Montgomery Central Indians vs. Sycamore War Eagles

The Montgomery Central Indians will take on the Sycamore War Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Montgomery Central is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Montgomery Central fell victim to Clarksville Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 12-0.

Meanwhile, Sycamore also failed to score in their most recent game. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Portland on Thursday. The War Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kyler Perkins was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Montgomery Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Sycamore, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
