Washougal had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.2 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 48-27 margin over the Columbia River Rapids. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won four contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

Among those leading the charge was Tripp Leifsen, who threw for 170 yards while completing 73.9% of his passes, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing yards (29). Hunter Miller was in the mix too, providing Washougal with two TDs.

Washougal's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Columbia River, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2.
