Softball Recap: Schulenburg Takes a Loss

Schulenburg's last matchup with Moulton could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Monday. Schulenburg lost 22-4 to Moulton. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobkatz this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-15 back in February.

Schulenburg has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-15-1 record this season. Moulton's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Schulenburg will venture away from home to challenge Weimar at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Weimar will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Moulton, they will head out to take on Flatonia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Moulton is facing Flatonia at the right time seeing as Flatonia is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
