Softball Recap: Pequea Valley Drops Season-High Score on Tulpehocken

Pequea Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tulpehocken Trojans. One positive for the Braves, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Pequea Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Tulpehocken, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Pequea Valley will square off against Lancaster Catholic at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Lancaster Catholic's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Pequea Valley's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Tulpehocken, they will take on Wyomissing at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Tulpehocken's pitchers better be ready for this one: Wyomissing has averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
