            Basketball Recap: Franklin Sabers vs. Greendale Panthers        
        
		
        
        
             Franklin unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took  a  57-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greendale Panthers. The Sabers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in January.
 Several Sabers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Gabriella Pritchard, who  went 5 for 10 en route to 15 points plus two  steals and two  blocks. Another player making a difference was  Taylor Truong, who  scored ten points along with three  steals.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin will square off against Germantown at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Franklin is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road dating back to last season. As for Greendale, they will challenge Milwaukee Reagan at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
