Basketball Game Preview: Plainview Bulldogs vs. San Angelo Central Bobcats

The Plainview Bulldogs will take on the San Angelo Central Bobcats in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Plainview has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 180 points over their last three matchups.

Last Tuesday, Plainview beat Coronado 57-44. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 94th, while the Mustangs are ranked 509th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, San Angelo Central played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 45-25 to Estacado.

Plainview is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points per game. As for San Angelo Central, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.
