Brock Cornell Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is West Allegheny's Brock Cornell, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Cornell made eight total tackles and defended a pass. The performance also marked the most rushing yards (156) he has had since back in September of 2023. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because West Allegheny is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.

Trey Hopper's big game helped extend Montour's winning streak to eight on Friday. Hopper did his part (and then some), throwing for 255 yards and four touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes for the 'W'. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for four or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

James Bundridge's big game helped extend Montour's winning streak to eight on Friday. Bundridge did his part (and then some), picking up 92 receiving yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 74 yards.

Caden Halajcio was instrumental in extending Montour's winning streak to eight on Friday. Ambridge had no answer to Halajcio as he rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown.
