Recap: Lake Orion Dragons vs. West Bloomfield Lakers

After a string of seven wins, the Lake Orion Dragons's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were beaten by West Bloomfield 74-27. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lake Orion has scored all season.

Summer Davis continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for West Bloomfield, scoring 24 points along with six steals and five assists. Davis hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendall Hendrix, who scored 12 points along with five assists and five steals.

Lake Orion's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-1. As for West Bloomfield, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with that victory, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Orion will square off against Clarkston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Bloomfield's road trip will continue as they head out to face Oxford at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Oxford is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
