It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Glenns Ferry can now relate to. They fell just short of the Potlatch Loggers by a score of 6-5 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Loggers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-6 back in April.
Klaira King was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Natalie Hernandez, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.
This is the second loss in a row for Glenns Ferry and nudges their season record down to 23-6. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 19-5 Genesee (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 87% over those games).
