Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lago Vista). They never let the Travis Rebels get on the board and left with an 18-0 win on Thursday. Considering the Vikings have won six matchups by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Lago Vista has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Travis, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

Coming up, Lago Vista will head out on the road to take on Manor New Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Manor New Tech will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Lago Vista surely won't give up without a fight. As for Travis, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Austin Achieve at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Polar Bears have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17 runs per game on average), something the Rebels will no doubt try to take advantage of.
