Football Game Preview: West Seattle vs. Franklin Quakers + How To Watch

West Seattle will challenge the Franklin Quakers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Seattle is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games dating back to last season.

West Seattle is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Lincoln: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that West Seattle blew Lincoln out of the water with a 44-7 final score. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 24-0.

Desmond Parkinson was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 370 yards and three TDs while picking up 13.7 yards per attempt. What's more, he racked up 146.8 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. LJ Moody did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 119 receiving yards.

Another reason for the win was West Seattle's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Carlos Patino refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself.

Meanwhile, Franklin came up short against Lincoln two weeks ago and fell 17-6. The Quakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Franklin now has a losing record of 1-2. As for West Seattle, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's contest: West Seattle has been excellent in the air this season, having averaged 273.7 passing yards per game. It's a different story for Franklin, though, as they've been averaging only 58.3 passing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant passing game?
