Volleyball Recap: Baker Comes Up Short

Baker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the La Grande Tigers. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Baker's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for La Grande, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Baker will head out to square off against Burns at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for La Grande, after both having extra time off, they and Ontario will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
