Baseball Recap: Miller Comes Up Short

Miller suffered their closest defeat since May 20, 2025 on Monday. They fell just short of the Rancho Verde Mustangs by a score of 7-5. If the Rebels were looking for revenge after losing 4-2 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in February of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jackson Harbour and Zachary Terry stepped up to the plate in a big way. Harbour went 3-for-4 with two RBI, while Terry got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple and one run.

Miller's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Rancho Verde, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coming up, Miller is taking a road trip to challenge Entrepreneur at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rancho Verde, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Canyon Springs at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
