Basketball Recap: Waukesha Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Waukesha Christian Academy lost against Rock County Christian back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Waukesha Christian Academy Warriors received a blow as they fell 65-50 to the Rock County Christian Eagles. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rock County Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Derek Quinn led the charge by dropping a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tony Thompson, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds.

Waukesha Christian Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Rock County Christian, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Wisconsin School for the Deaf the next time they take the court. Rock County Christian will host Wisconsin School for the Deaf at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st, while Waukesha Christian Academy will host them at 5:00 p.m. on January 28th.
