West Brunswick took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They blew past the South Columbus Stallions 75-41. With the Trojans ahead 48-17 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

West Brunswick got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Matthew McKenney out in front who went 8-for-9 to rack up 23 points and five assists. The dominant performance also gave McKenney a new career-high in field goal percentage (89%). Jerrison Dixon was another key player, shooting 78% from the field en route to 21 points.

Coming up, West Brunswick won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against North Myrtle Beach at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Columbus, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against East Columbus at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
