There's no place like home for Normal University, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Bloomington Central Catholic Saints on Saturday. Considering the Pioneers have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Normal University's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Bloomington Central Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-15-1.

Coincidentally, Normal University and Bloomington Central Catholic will both be playing Williamsville the next time they take the field. The Saints will host the Bullets at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Pioneers will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
