Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Osceola's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Osceola hadn't done well against Dorchester recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Longhorns. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Osceola never let Dorchester on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20.

Alexis Burritt paced Osceola's offense, picking up four kills. Burritt got some help from Kinlee Feezell and her 11 assists. Kenzie Bartling and Graci Conkling kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Osceola is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. As for Dorchester, their loss dropped their record down to 12-14.

Osceola has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Cross County on the 20th. As for Dorchester, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Meridian on the 21st.
