It's playoff time, and Jamestown had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Spotsylvania Knights on Tuesday as they made off with a 5-0 win. Considering Jamestown have won 12 games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Spotsylvania with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mart?n Lamo (3), Ty Smith, and Max Cooper.

The victory (which was Jamestown's sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six contests. As for Spotsylvania, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-8-1.

Looking ahead, Jamestown will face off against Charlottesville at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Charlottesville will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Jamestown surely won't give up without a fight. Spotsylvania does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
