After only two runs in their last matchup, Oxbridge Academy made sure to put some runs up on the board against West Boca Raton on Tuesday. The Oxbridge Academy ThunderWolves' pitcher stepped up to hand the West Boca Raton Bulls a 12-0 shutout. With that win, the ThunderWolves brought their scoring average up to 7.5 runs per game.

Isabella Penbe tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Riley Frauntfelter was incredible, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that she's hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Bianco, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Oxbridge Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Boca Raton only posted an OBP of .316.

The victory got Oxbridge Academy back to even at 2-2. As for West Boca Raton, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oxbridge Academy will challenge Martin County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Boca Raton, they will take on Westminster Academy at 4:00 p.m. on March 4th.
