Modoc waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Braves who were credited with the win. The Modoc Braves got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Weed Cougars's three. This was a revenge game for Modoc: when they faced off against Weed back in August, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Cache Knight was the driving force of Modoc's attack as he scored both of Modoc's goals, bringing his season total up to nine goals.

Modoc's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Weed, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-4 record.

Modoc wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-2 win against Butte Valley on the 18th. As for Weed, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, an 8-2 victory against Trinity on the 18th.
