Basketball Game Preview: Blue Hill Bobcats vs. Pleasanton Bulldogs

The Blue Hill Bobcats will challenge the Pleasanton Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Blue Hill's tournament run continued when they took on Silver Lake on Friday. Blue Hill was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 45-44 to Silver Lake.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pleasanton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 57-34 margin over Sumner-Eddyville-Miller on Thursday. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Blue Hill better focus on containing Brittany Riley and Tyra Sekutera as the pair were huge in Pleasanton's win. Riley went 6 of 10 from beyond the arc to rack up 18 points in addition to six assists and three steals, while Sekutera went 7 for 15 on her way to 20 points and three steals. Thanks to that strong game, Riley now owns an excellent 41.7% three-point shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Cassidee Paitz, who posted two points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

Pleasanton was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2023.

Pleasanton's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Blue Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.
