Softball Game Preview: Riverheads Gladiators vs. Wilson Memorial Green Hornets

The Riverheads Gladiators will square off against the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Riverheads' offense. They came up short against Stuarts Draft on Thursday, falling 9-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, while Wilson Memorial put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Waynesboro. The Green Hornets blew past the Little Giants 12-0. That 12 run margin sets a new team best for the Green Hornets this season.

Riverheads now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Wilson Memorial, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
