Baseball Recap: North Sand Mountain Gets the Win

While North Sand Mountain's win against Section wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bison sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Lions on Tuesday. The Bison haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Luke Reed was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

North Sand Mountain's record is now 12-7. As for Section, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.
