Watkins Memorial is 9-1 against Heath since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Watkins Memorial Warriors will be playing at home against the Heath Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. Watkins Memorial will be strutting in after a victory while Heath will be coming in after a loss.

On Monday, Watkins Memorial didn't have too much trouble with Amanda-Clearcreek as they won 43-28. The win was all the more spectacular given the Warriors' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 493rd, while the Aces are ranked 132nd).

Shelby Lott was the offensive standout of the contest as she posted 16 points. Kamryn Caldwell was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to four steals and three blocks.

Meanwhile, Heath was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-59 heartbreaker at the hands of Maysville. One positive for the Bulldogs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Heath's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Watkins Memorial, their victory bumped their record up to 7-13.
