Basketball Recap: La Crescent Takes a Loss

La Crescent was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 73-5 loss at the hands of the Caledonia Warriors. The contest marked the Lancers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

La Crescent's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Caledonia, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. La Crescent will venture away from home to take on Rushford-Peterson at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Caledonia, they will face off against Waukon at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Waukon's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
