It's playoff time, and Addison had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Pickens Academy Pirates on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 15 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Addison has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for Pickens Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 20-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Addison beat the Pirates by a score of 12-2 later that day.
