Softball Recap: Wasatch Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Wasatch's offense. They came up short against the Mountain Ridge Sentinels on Wednesday, falling 12-0. The Wasps have struggled against the Sentinels recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Wasatch's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Mountain Ridge, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wasatch will welcome Uintah at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mountain Ridge, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Hunter at 3:30 p.m. The Sentinels' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolverines have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season.
