Softball Recap: Citronelle Comes Up Short

Citronelle lost against Robertsdale back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Citronelle fell 13-9 to Robertsdale. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

EmmaGrace Weaver stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high. Madelyn Dickinson was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-5.

Citronelle's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Robertsdale, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Citronelle will face off against Vigor at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Robertsdale, they will venture away from home to face off against Gulf Shores at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
