Basketball Recap: Magnolia Takes a Loss

Magnolia lost against Pioneer back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Magnolia Sentinels took a blow against the Pioneer Titans, falling 80-36. The Sentinels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Magnolia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Pioneer, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Magnolia will take on Pacifica in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Magnolia is facing Pacifica at the right time seeing as Pacifica is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Pioneer and Southlands Christian will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on December 20th.
