Baseball Recap: Enka Takes a Loss

Enka started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Asheville. They fell just short of the Asheville Cougars by a score of 7-6 on Tuesday. The Jets' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Ty Aycock made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double. That double was his first of the season. Camden Crook was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base.

Enka's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Asheville, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3.

While Enka had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
