While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Monroe was not quite Platteville's equal in the second half on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Hillmen. The result was nothing new for Monroe as the squad haven't won a game since September 30th.

Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 6-9-2. As for Platteville, they pushed their record up to 9-4-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Monroe will take on River Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Platteville, they will square off against Prairie du Chien at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Prairie du Chien's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
