Football Recap: Wilber-Clatonia Takes a Loss

Wilber-Clatonia lost against Auburn back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolverines took a 33-15 bruising from the Bulldogs.

When it comes to explaining why Wilber-Clatonia lost, don't look at Graysen Vlcan. Despite the final result, he picked up 115 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 61 yards.

Wilber-Clatonia's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Auburn, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Wilber-Clatonia will challenge rival Fairbury on Friday. Meanwhile, Auburn is set to square off against their familiar foe Falls City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
