Volleyball Game Preview: Mohonasen Warriors vs. Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Ravens

The Mohonasen Warriors will head out to face off against the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Ravens at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk will be up against a hot Mohonasen team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Warriors came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against Voorheesville.

Meanwhile, Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk hadn't done well against Academy of the Holy Names recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Ravens won by a set and slipped past Academy of the Holy Names 3-2.

Mohonasen's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Mohonasen took their victory against Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
