Baseball Game Preview: Clarksdale Wildcats vs. Corinth Warriors

Clarksdale is 0-6 against Corinth since April of 2023 but things could change on Thursday. The Wildcats will welcome the Warriors at 6:00 p.m.

Clarksdale came up short against New Hope on Tuesday, falling 7-1. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clarksdale saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Terrell Johhnson, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Johhnson also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Corinth got themselves on the board against Pontotoc on Tuesday, but Pontotoc never followed suit. They came out on top against Pontotoc by a score of 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for Corinth.

Corinth's win bumped their record up to 10-8-1. As for Clarksdale, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
