East Prairie won the last time they faced Scott City and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 12-2 victory. The 12-run effort marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The win made it two in a row for East Prairie and bumps their season record up to 7-1. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 10.5 runs. As for Scott City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7-1.

Coincidentally, East Prairie and Scott City will both be playing New Madrid County Central the next time they take the field. The Rams will head out to face the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
