GV Christian hadn't done well against Lincoln County recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The GV Christian Guardians managed a 59-55 win over the Lincoln County Lynx. This was a revenge game for the Guardians: when they faced off against the Lynx back in January, they had to take a 51-49 defeat.

Lincoln County's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rowdy Lloyd, who had 16 points and five rebounds. Kalen Bart was another key player, going 5 for 10 en route to 12 points and seven boards.

GV Christian's record now sits at 8-14. As for Lincoln County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-8.
