The Pirates fell 58-49 to the Marlin Bulldogs on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost five in a row.

Chilton's defeat dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Marlin, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.
