Baseball Recap: Farmington Takes a Loss

Farmington lost to Davis on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Phoenix came up short against the Darts, falling 13-5. The Phoenix have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Zach Hecht and Ryland Drollinger stepped up to the plate in a big way. Hecht went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Drollinger went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Knowles, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Farmington's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Davis, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Farmington beat Davis by a score of 14-13 on Friday.
