Volleyball Recap: Maricopa Takes a Loss

After flying high against North on Wednesday, Maricopa came back down to earth. The Rams lost 3-0 to the Campo Verde Coyotes on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Coyotes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-21, 25-16.

Maricopa's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Campo Verde, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-7.

Maricopa has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Flowing Wells on the 6th. As for Campo Verde, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Canyon View on the 9th.
