Bellmont waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They snuck past the Bluffton Tigers with a 53-47 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Braves also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Konley Ault, who went 5 for 11 on her way to 17 points and three steals. Isabella Stout was another key player, putting up 13 points and six boards.

Bellmont pushed their record up to 14-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Bluffton, they moved to 13-2 with that defeat, which also ended their 11-game winning streak.

Bellmont will venture away from home to face off against Columbia City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bluffton, they will welcome Jay County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
