The Reagan Rattlers will challenge the Clark Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, Reagan beat Churchill 63-56. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rattlers.

Chase Hill went supernova for Reagan, going 8 for 13 on his way to 22 points. The dominant performance gave Hill a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Garrison, who posted 11 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Clark entered their tilt with SA Roosevelt on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They enjoyed a cozy 62-43 win over the Rough Riders. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Rough Riders are ranked 245th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Clark's win came from a few key players Reagan will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kristian Burgan, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 16 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Flemons, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 15 points.
Clark is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Reagan, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-6.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Reagan has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 23.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Clark struggles in that department as they've been averaging 24.8 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Reagan was able to grind out a solid win over Clark when the teams last played back in January of 2024, winning 56-47. Does Reagan have another victory up their sleeve, or will Clark turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
