Basketball Recap: San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy Comes Up Short

San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 76-36 defeat at the hands of the Sweetwater Mustangs. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.

San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Sweetwater, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-10.

San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy will square off against Grape Creek at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sweetwater, they will take on Monahans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sweetwater has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
