Baseball Recap: San Fernando Takes a Loss

San Fernando lost against Poly back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers fell just short of the Parrots by a score of 4-3. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

San Fernando saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Torres, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another was Rommeml Molina, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

San Fernando's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Poly, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Poly beat San Fernando by a score of 5-3 on Saturday.
