Baseball Recap: Badger Takes a Loss

Badger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 13-4 to the Waterford Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-4 on Monday.

Badger now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Waterford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

Badger will face off against Mukwonago at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Waterford, they are taking a road trip to face off against Racine Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.75 runs per game on average), something the Wolverines will no doubt try to take advantage of.
