Basketball Recap: Georgetown Comes Up Short

Georgetown was the 69-59 winner over Weiss when they last played one another on January 3rd, but their luck changed this time around. The Georgetown Eagles took a 61-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Weiss Wolves on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Georgetown's defeat dropped their record down to 19-12. As for Weiss, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-17.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Pflugerville the next time they take the court. Weiss will head out to face Pflugerville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Georgetown will host them at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th.
