Academy for Academic Excellence entered their tilt with Victor Valley Christian on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They never let the Royals get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Royals, too.

Aiden Carmona made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs. He has become a key player for Academy for Academic Excellence: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 5-9 otherwise.

In other batting news, Garrett Narasky was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Bryson Lilly was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Academy for Academic Excellence kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.3 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 11.2.

Academy for Academic Excellence pushed their record up to 9-9 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Victor Valley Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
