Basketball Recap: Secaucus Comes Up Short

Secaucus lost against Lyndhurst two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Secaucus Patriots fell to the Lyndhurst Golden Bears 63-59. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (55), the Patriots still had to take the loss.

Secaucus dropped their record down to 3-11 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.9 points per game. As for Lyndhurst, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-8.

Secaucus has already played their next game (against Rutherford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lyndhurst will challenge Harrison at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
