Hamilton and Hatley are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2022, but likely not for long. The Lions will square off against the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hamilton will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Hatley's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Tuesday: Hamilton hadn't allowed a single run the last four times they've hit the field. The Lions skirted past Saltillo 2-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hatley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Baldwyn 12-2 on Thursday. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by eight runs or more this season.

Emily Hill made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in February.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Charlea McCollum, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Raigan Brown, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI.

Hamilton's record now sits at 22-3. As for Hatley, their record is now 14-9.

Hamilton skirted past Hatley 3-2 when the teams last played two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
