Softball Recap: Puckett Comes Up Short

Puckett was the 10-1 winner over Richland when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Puckett Wolves fell 5-2 to the Richland Rangers on Saturday.

Puckett saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Pardue, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Puckett now has a losing record of 0-1-1.

Puckett has already played their next match, a 20-9 win against Mendenhall on the 10th. As for Richland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 16-1 victory against Ridgeland on the 10th.
